Xinfengming's
brilliant today is from difficult yesterday. Three leaps in
a decade not only carry many employees¡¯ hardships and dreams,
but also witness their exploration spirits. During this decade,
Xinfengming group's total asset, annual capacity and annual
sales revenue increased by 14 times, 24 times and 15 times,
respectively with 230 million yuan turned in to state taxes.
[First Leap]
In Mar 1996, Xinfengming Group (formerly Tongxiang Fengming
Experimental Factory) carried out systematic reforms and formally
became a financially independent company; In Aug 1999, stock
reform was completed and Tongxiang Xinfengming Chemical Fiber
Co.,Ltd. was officially established; In Mar 2000 to Jan 2001,
two branch companies----Zhongheng and Zhongwei were set up.
Technical modernizations were made in POY, DTY projects and
FDY production line was introduced.
[Second Leap]
In Oct 2001, the first industrial park in Tongxiang City---Xinfengming
Zhongchi Chemical Fiber Industrial Park began to build. In
2002, a third branch company-----ZhongXin Chemical Fiber Co.,Ltd.
was set up in the park with investment of 450 million yuan
and polyester direct-spun capacity of 0.2mln tons per year.
By then, chemical fiber filament spinning capacity of Xinfengming
Group reached 0.33 mln tonnes per year.
[Third Leap]
In Jun 2006, the phase II 200kt/yr direct-spun project which
received investment of 0.5bln yuan started construction. Production
lines were imported from US Dupont and Germany Barmag. In
Aug 2007, the phase II project was successfully put into production
and the group¡¯s annual capacity arrived at 500,000 tons.
